ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3
Voting in local, rural elections is important. And, on average, only 20% of parents vote in school elections. On Tuesday, November 3, you will decide whether to invest in our school by considering two ballot questions. Question 1 is an operating levy to address our educational needs, and Question 2 is a building bond referendum to address our facility needs. Each question addresses separate needs and allows you to consider those investments separately.

Three Ways to Vote
There are three ways to vote: early/absentee at home by mail, early/absentee in person at your respective county’s location, and in person on Election Day. We encourage everyone to plan ahead and make sure to cast your vote. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, and early/absentee voting is now available through Monday, November 2.
Vote Early/Absentee at Home by Mail through Monday, November 2
You can vote early/absentee at home by mail by completing an absentee ballot application and returning it to your respective county location:

Once your absentee ballot application is received, you will be sent an absentee ballot in the mail. You will follow the included instructions and return your completed absentee ballot by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Any absentee ballots received after that time won’t be counted, so make sure to plan ahead!
Vote Early/Absentee in Person through Monday, November 2
You can vote early/absentee in person at your respective county location on weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:

Starting Friday, October 16, you can also vote early in person by marking your ballot and feeding it directly into a tabulator – just like Election Day.

Registered voters in the townships of Cedar Mills, Danielson, Forest City, Harvey, and Darwin, and the City of Darwin are mail-ballot precincts and will automatically receive a ballot to complete and return.
If you live in one of those areas and are not registered to vote, please do so here no later than Friday, September 18. If you are not a registered voter, a ballot will not be automatically mailed to you, and you must request an absentee ballot using the instructions below. To receive a ballot, you must complete an absentee ballot application. Download an application, complete it, and return it to the Meeker County Auditor’s Office, located at 114 N Holcombe Avenue, Suite 150, Litchfield, MN 55355.
Once Meeker County receives your completed absentee ballot application, an absentee ballot will be sent to you to complete.
Complete your absentee ballot and return it either by mail or in person to the Meeker County Auditor’s Office.
Mail-Ballot Precincts: Residents Who Live in the Townships of Cedar Mills, Danielson, Forest City, Harvey, and Darwin, and the City of Darwin in meeker county)
All completed absentee ballots must be received no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Click here to track your absentee ballot once it’s submitted.
Due to postal delays, send your completed ballot no later than Tuesday, October 20, to ensure it arrives on time. Otherwise, return your completed absentee ballot in person.
